AKTU’s B.Tech Ordinance 2018-19, Clause 15, converts CGPA to percentage with (CGPA − 0.75) × 10. The same clause works an official illustration: (8.66 − 0.75) × 10 = 79.1%. This calculator follows that clause for the 2018-19 B.Tech ordinance. It does not add later ordinances we have not verified.

The ordinance illustration
Many conversion pages skip the 0.75 offset and simply multiply by 10. That would turn 8.66 CGPA into 86.60%, which is not the figure AKTU wrote in Clause 15. Using the ordinance: 8.66 − 0.75 = 7.91, then × 10 = 79.10% (the ordinance prints 79.1%).

Using the percentage on forms
UPSEE/CUET counselling sheets and some Uttar Pradesh campus drives still want a percentage. Write the converted figure and keep Clause 15 or a college conversion letter with you. If a form says “as on marksheet only”, do not invent a percentage AKTU did not print.
