University of Calicut CGPA to Percentage
University of Calicut CBCSS UG regulations illustrate how the final grade card turns CGPA into percentage: total percentage of marks = (CGPA ÷ 10) × 100. Their own worked example is CGPA 7.183 → 71.83%. This calculator follows that illustration. It does not apply KTU’s old −2.5 rule or the 2018 piecewise formulas reported in news.

The regulation’s own example
After summing credit points across six semesters (862 / 120), the PDF gets CGPA = 7.183 and then Total percentage of marks = (CGPA/10) × 100 = 71.83. That is × 10, not (CGPA − 0.75) × 10. A 7.183 CGPA would be 64.33% on the 0.75-offset formula — a large miss versus Calicut’s example.
The same regulations say the final grade card shows CGPA to three decimal places and percentage to two. Prefer the card over any website.

How to get the official Calicut conversion certificate
The final Calicut grade card is supposed to show CGPA and percentage of marks. Use that printed percentage for official purposes. Apply through the college for any extra conversion letter.
